Atlas Animalia - A book of monster variants

Created by Andreas Walters

From the creators of the Baby Bestiary, explore monster variants like you've never seen before! Slated to be an 100-page hardcover book. It currently features 25 unique beasts, exploring three diverse variants of each. Like an extended monster manual lore entry, each page will dive deep into the creature, covering biology, hunting, and mating (perhaps even some rearing tips for the daring beastmaster). In addition, the book examines each creature's unique environmental adaptations as well as local uses for the creature (from legendary myths and traditions that tie into adventure hooks).

 Hi Backers,
The hydra set is done! It was extremely fun and challenging. I think you'll like them all.

We wanted some snake-like influences in these guys so this one has some red cobra in him.  
Next up: Blink Dogs and Lizardfolk. 

...and then I am done drawing! I plan on going head down, grind it out to get it all squared away before Christmas.

With this artic couatl, we only have three more beasts set to go before I'm done drawing. 

How awesome is that? 

I loved doing the couatls and I think you guys will like the entire set. We had solid backer ideas for a few of them.

 Hi Awesome people,

I think I might have forgotten to share a few beasts with you, but no worries, this cheerful fellow is here for you today!  

We are doing great! There are only 4 beast sets to go.

This guy was based on the bobbit worm which is both horrifying and rainbow-colored under artificial lighting. I tried to "lie artistically" to sort of capture the effect. 

I hope to like him. Coatls are next!

 Hi all, 

Wyverns are done! Here's the desert-dwelling species which is based off the horned viper, one of my favorite snakes. 

I'm cranking on the griffon set today too. 

There's only 6 more beast sets to finish! SO exciting.

I just finished the pegasus set. This set was super fun and I can't wait for you to see them all. Only 7 more beast sets to go! It's exciting.
