About the Baby Bestiary 

For who have joined us but don't know what the Baby Bestiary is.
The Baby Bestiary is a systemless art/lorebook, exploring what it would be like to rear said beast. Each spread features an amazing piece of art by Conceptopolis and a description of how the creature mates, egg care (if applicable) and how to rear/train said beast. 

There are currently no stats/rules for the Baby Bestiary. We believe that much of the interaction with these adorable beasts can be done narratively or with skill checks. However, that said we are looking into making a ruleset in regards to rearing beasts. We just want to make sure we do it right.

Thank you so much for funding us to 50% (now 62%)!

I wanted to make you something a bit different so we put together a process gif for you. This is how all the beasts are created. (I also look at a TON of animal pictures)

I hope you like it, and since the first round of voting is in, I guess I'll need to get you guys a unicorn for 75% funded. :)

Just for fun, what cool variants can you think of for this guy?

Awesome backers,  

Thank you so much for your generosity and support. 

I was inspired by your votes to make you a 25% funded thank you faerie dragon. This is the common faerie dragon who has stolen a rather important item, for fun.  

My thought while drawing was: "What are you doing what that necklace, faerie dragon? They probably need that, faerie dragon."  

Although we are off to a killer start, we have a long way to go, so please tell your friends and family about the Atlas.  

So I can make you the faerie dragon variants and all the other beasts.  

When we hit 50%, I’ll do another black and white beast for sure - maybe the corgi blink dog, or a macaw-griffon, or something else!  

*** If we hit 10K by this time tomorrow, I’ll color this little guy for you, and we can make sure it’s offered as a print***

First in news we're 45% funded which is amazing!!

Second, I spent all day yesterday making a catchy video for the KS campaign, I would have done it last week but parents were visiting and took all my free time :/
But alas, the video is complete!! (not sure what's up with the preview image)

As you may know, we decided on 15 of the 20 beasts that are in the book. We decided to give you, the backers, a hand in deciding which beasts are going to get into the book (its a tough decision).
